Security

Bank statements are sensitive. Here is exactly what happens to a file from the moment you drop it in, in plain language.
How your file is handled
- Your browser uploads files to us over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Your PDF is processed in memory to extract transactions. It is never written to disk.
- Once your result is returned, the file and extracted data are discarded. There's nothing left to delete.
- If your PDF is password-protected, the password is used only to open it and is never stored.
How extraction works
Each page is read by our extraction engine to pull out the date, description, amount and balance of every transaction. Your statement is used only to complete your request — never for advertising, profiling or model training, and it is never sold.
Checking the result
When a statement prints a running balance, every extracted row is checked against it, and any row where the math doesn't add up is flagged on the review screen so you can correct it before exporting.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your financial data, or share it beyond what's needed to process your request (see our Privacy Policy).
- We don't require an account or any personal details.
- We don't keep copies of your statements or converted files.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
