Privacy Policy

This policy explains what BankStatementHub collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to bankstatementhub.com and the conversion tools on it.

What we collect

• Statements and invoices you upload. Processed in memory to extract transactions, then discarded. They are never written to disk or kept after your request finishes. See Security for the details.
• Feedback you send us. If you use the feedback form, we store your message and rating, plus your name and email if you choose to give them. We use this only to improve the product and, if you left an email, to reply.
• Standard server logs. Our web server records technical request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, used for security and troubleshooting.

There are no user accounts. You don't need to sign up or give us any personal details to convert a statement.

Service providers

Like most websites, we rely on trusted infrastructure providers to host and run the service. They process data only on our instructions, only to deliver the service to you, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded files and extracted transactions: not retained after your request.
• Feedback: kept until it's no longer useful, or until you ask us to delete it.
• Server logs: rotated and deleted on a regular schedule.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A single sign-in cookie is used only on the site's admin area by the people who run the site.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of any feedback you sent, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. If you're in the EU or UK, this includes your rights under the GDPR.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
