About BankStatementHub
Last updated October 8, 2026
BankStatementHub turns PDF bank and credit card statements into spreadsheets and accounting-ready files. It's built for small business owners, bookkeepers, accountants and anyone who has been handed a stack of PDFs when what they needed was rows and columns.

Satwinder Singh · Founder & Developer
Satwinder Singh is the founder and developer of BankStatementHub, building practical web tools that take the manual work out of finance admin — starting with turning PDF bank statements into clean, verified spreadsheets.
Why we built it
Most banks only let you download statements as PDF. Retyping transactions is slow and error-prone, and many converters either rely on fixed bank templates that break when a layout changes, or hand you a spreadsheet with no way to tell which rows were misread. We wanted a converter that shows its work.
How it works
- Each page of your PDF is rendered to an image in memory — this is why scanned statements work too.
- Our extraction engine reads the page layout and pulls out the date, description, amount and running balance for each row — no bank-specific templates needed.
- Where the statement prints a running balance, each row is checked: previous balance plus this amount must equal this balance. Rows that don't add up are flagged.
- You review the rows next to the original page, fix anything, and export in the format you need.
What it can't do (yet)
- Up to 10 pages per conversion — select the pages that contain transactions.
- Statements without a printed running balance (common on credit cards) can't be balance-checked, so review those carefully.
- Very low-quality scans or handwritten notes can be misread.
If a statement doesn't convert well, please tell us — those reports directly decide what we fix next.
Our commitments
- Your files are processed in memory and never stored. Details on our Security page.
- Free during early access, with no signup.
- We'll be upfront about limitations rather than overpromise accuracy.
